The Origin of Four Squares Construction

In 2016, fate brought together Fred and Anthony during a shared journey through Leadership York. Little did they know, this serendipitous encounter would serve as a catalyst for a transformative collaboration. As their friendship developed, they quickly discovered their shared vision and desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those living in York.

Recognizing the potential to have greater impact together, they embarked on a joint venture, founding Four Squares Construction. The name Four Squares Construction represents the four quadrants or squares of York City – NE, NW, SE, SW, each symbolizing a corner of the community that they were determined to uplift and revitalize.

Uplifting Every Corner of York City through Dedicated Service

Driven by a commitment to serve neighborhoods with vulnerable populations, Fred and Anthony set out to fulfill their mission in each quadrant of the city, starting with the Salem Avenue Project in the Southwest neighborhood. After a few months in Salem Square, they knew that in order to maintain sustainable growth, it was necessary to expand operations and establish Four Squares Construction.

This addition allowed them to support their developmental endeavors by providing general construction services, at the same time, offering meaningful work to local residents. As they navigated the intricacies of the development and construction landscape, they remained focused on their original commitment. With every step forward, Fred and Anthony saw new opportunities to effect change.

Expanding Purpose: From Construction to Property Management

In 2022, Four Squares Construction was founded. This was a significant milestone, broadening the scope of what the team could provide to York’s neighborhoods. As Four Squares Construction continues to evolve, our mission remains the same: to uplift and serve the York communities and populations that have been historically disadvantaged.
